Here are the Rules, Good Luck!
Rules: Must be 21+
Must not have professional credentials as a singer
(If you have been paid to sing in any capacity you are a pro in this case. Education is OK, Band Members who are not the lead singer are OK, We are just trying to keep those who sing
for a living at bay for this one)
$10 to try out in front of a judge and audience
Judges will either be Host or other professional singer
based on availability. Tryout money pays for the judging
panels. Judges decisions are final, understand up front
you may not make the cut.
You may tryout more than once at $10 each.
$5 to enter if accepted, this $5 will also help pay the judging panel.
Heat Entertainment Group will put up $400 cash for the prize pool.
Tryouts available on any karaoke night from Thursday Sept 23rd through
Sunday October 10th We will have 3 elimination weeks. And one final.
The final will have no less than 5 singers vying for the top 3 spots.
Payouts will be 50%, 30% and 20% of prize pool funds.
Top 5 will get FREE automatic entry into the Heat Karaoke Championships, Season 2.
Al payments accepted via cash, venmo or cashapp paid to KJ Craig.
You will make your own song choice, but you should consult the host to be sure
they have the song you would like or that it can be purchased. We do not use YouTube.
What are we looking for?
In early rounds, we want to know you can carry a tune. Hit the required notes
of your chosen song and keep time.
In the later rounds we will also judge the uniqueness of your sound and how the crowd
responds.
We are NOT looking for a song and dance routine, but that could impact crowd response so
having fun is highly encouraged.

Finals Southridge Dugout Saturday November 20th Will have 3 judges – 2 Confirmed PB and TD
